Recipe: Apple and Pear Salsa

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbl fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 c pineapple juice
  • 3 Anjou pears, peeled and diced
  • 3 red apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbl fresh mint, diced
  • 3 Serrano chilies, seeded and minced

Instructions

  1. Mix the pineapple juice and lime juice in a large bowl. Add the diced pears and apple then toss to cover fruit in juices. Add mint and chilies and mix well. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Yields about 2 to 3 cups.
